David Paz is a screenwriter and copywriter based in Los Angeles, CA.

Born and raised in Miami, FL, David is a proud Cuban Panamanian American. His stories often feature Latinos navigating (or dreaming of) life in America.

At NYU Tisch, David received his BFA in theater through the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He also minored in creative writing, studying under author Colson Whitehead.

He has years of experience in marketing, writing for brands as varied as Toyota, CVS/Aetna, and SeatGeek.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2022, David has dedicated himself to screenwriting. He is the founder and organizer of Courier Cumbia, a Latino screenwriting collective that meets once a month in the Arts District.
